OUR HISTORY

Established in 1995, Rise Church began in a Bi-Lo shopping centre under the name North East Christian Centre. Our church has undergone several name changes and location changes over the last twenty years. Today, Rise Church is one church in two locations, Adelaide and Phnom Penh. We are also reaching people through our online platform, Rise Online. Our mission is the same today as it was when we began many years ago, to make a difference in our community and in our world, through the truth, hope and love of Jesus.

what we believe

The vision of our church is to see people become all that God has called them to be. To outwork our vision, we have five values and commitments as a church that guide and shape everything that we do.

We are committed to wholeness

We love people relentlessly

We rely on God

We create impacting leaders

We pursue the impossible

Rise Church is a member of the Australian Christian Churches (ACC). The ACC is a movement of Pentecostal Churches in voluntary cooperation. Each individual church is self-governing, but commits itself to work together with other churches in the movement, for the purpose of mutual support and the spread of the gospel in Australia and the world. ACC currently consists of over 1,000 churches with over 375,000 constituents, making it the largest Pentecostal movement in Australia.
